Sonakshi Sinha may have been out of sight for a while, but the actress is has been busy behind the scenes. The ‘Dabangg’ star will be seen in the upcoming OTT series ‘Dahaad’ which is all set to release on May 12th. And as it gets closer to release, Sonakshi is aware that her role of a female police officer may face a direct comparison with that of Salman Khan in ‘Dabangg’. “As a cop, I think it is very different from a Chulbul Pandey type of an officer. Like ma’am (Ex-IPS Officer Dr Meeran Chadha Borwankar on whom Sonakshi’s character is based) said, she (her character) is very real. She is very raw. She knows what she’s doing and what she wants to get justice, no matter what it is. She is that kind of a woman. It really was my honour to play her on screen,” said Sonakshi. ‘Dahaad’ is a crime, mystery, thriller in which Sonakshi plays a the role of a strong female cop named Anjali Bhaati.
