Sonakshi Sinha has been making headlines for an alleged cheating case of Rs 24 lakh filed against her. Since the FIR was filed at Moradabad Police Station in the state of Uttar Pradesh, a team from there approached Juhu Police Station and visited Sonakshi’s residence yesterday, to record her statement. However, the actress wasn’t at home and could not speak with the police. Sharing her stand, Sonakshi wrote on Twitter, “An event organizer, who couldn’t live up to his commitment, obviously, thinks he can make a fast buck by maligning my crystal clear image in the press. I would request the media to not fan these bizarre claims of an unscrupulous man.” Apparently, allegation is that Sonakshi took booking amount of Rs 24 lakhs to perform at an event in Delhi but did not show up.
