Sonu Sood became a real-life hero to many with his charitable work during the tough times of Covid-19 and lockdowns. He even opened a charitable organization called The Sood Charity Foundation. Taking this a step further, the actor has now pledged Rs 1 crore in scholarship. Keeping in sync with today’s times, Sonu Sood has pledged this amount for cybersecurity enthusiasts. Throwing light on this latest initiative, Sonu says, “Our country is facing a significant resource crisis in cybersecurity, and I am proud to be a part of the solution through the Mera Bharat, Surakshit Bharat Initiative scholarship programme with EC-Council. I urge all those passionate about cybersecurity to apply for the scholarship and take the first step towards a fulfilling career in this industry.” On the work front, Sonu’s last film was ‘Samrat Prithviraj’.
