The Akshay Kumar starrer and Rohit Shetty directed ‘Sooryavanshi’ has been eagerly awaited since the time it was announced. But as the release date of the film nears, the shouts of ‘Sooryavanshi’ getting postponed are getting louder while this is being written. As we had informed our readers a month back, ‘Sooryavanshi’ was to release during mid-week in March as the makers wanted to cash in on the Gudi Padwa holiday. Keeping that in mind, it was slated to release on March 24th. But the growing coronavirus pandemic is spreading even in India so production houses Dharma Productions and Reliance Entertainment are deferring the release by taking distributors and theatre owners into confidence. The new release date for ‘Sooryavanshi’ will be announced later. Rohit Shetty’s company issued this statement today.
