Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria-starrer ‘Student of The Year 2’ opened to mostly negative reviews from the critics. However, the star-crazy audience has been assuring that the high school drama manages a good run at the box office. Directed by Punit Malhotra, ‘Student of The Year 2’ collected Rs 12.06 crore on its first day and went on to record a growth with Rs 14.02 crore on Saturday. Since the Indian Premier League (IPL) had its final match scheduled for Sunday, the business of ‘Student of The Year 2’ took a hit and collected Rs 12.75 crore. The film opened on around 3,200 screens across the country.
