Sudhir Mishra is gearing up for a twisted presentation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel ‘Devdas’, with his upcoming venture titled ‘DaasDev’. The film features Richa Chadha who will play Paro, Aditi Rao Hydari as Chandramukhi and Rahul Bhat as Dev. Mishra has given the classic ‘Devdas’ a modern flip and has set his story against the backdrop of politics in today’s time. The film is set in Uttar Pradesh and will explore the theme of power and politics with a thriller storyline. ‘DaasDev’ is in its climax stage and is set to hit the screens on February 16, 2018.
