Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor-led ‘Chhichhore’ is winning hearts and earning big at the box office. The film opened with an impressive Rs 7.32 crore on Friday and went on to rake in Rs 12.25 crore on Saturday, plus Rs 16.41 crore on Sunday. ‘Chhichhore’ witnessed a massive growth in figures on the weekend and the film now stands at a proud total of Rs 35.98 crore. The flick is said to be made on a budget of Rs 70 crore. The Nitesh Tiwari-directorial traces the story of a group of friends, their college life and later life struggles. ‘Chhichhore’ received a massive push from tier-2 and tier-3 cities, adding to this impressive total.
