Karan Johar’s ambitious project, ‘Takht’, is ready to go on the floors in February 2020 and the filmmaker has a team working on elaborate sets and characterization for the period drama. The ace filmmaker is planning to do workshops with his starry team, which includes Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. KJo is reportedly planning diction classes with language coaches as each actor has to get the nuances right for his/her Mughal-era character. Anil Kapoor will play Shah Jahan, while Ranveer and Vicky will play his sons – Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb, and Kareena will play their sister Jahanara Begum. ‘Takht’ is scheduled to hit the screens in December 2020.
