Producer-director Vidhu Vinod Chopra marks 45 years of his professional journey as a filmmaker this year. To celebrate his over four decade journey, ten of his iconic films will rerelease in theaters. Starting from ‘Sazaye Maut’, which released in 1981, and ‘Khamosh’ in 1986, fans can revisit the years gone by on the big screen. Not all of the rereleases would have been big hits, but all the films certainly made a mark in Indian cinema. Apart from the above two, ‘Parinda’, ‘1942: A Love Story’, ‘Mission Kashmir’, ‘Parineeta’, ‘Eklavya’, ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ and ‘3 Idiots’, complete the list of 10 movies releasing on Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s special occasion. All the movies are slated to release in October itself creating a film festival of sorts at the box office in India.
