Shah Rukh Khan is once again caught in a controversy, thanks to his opinion on the ‘rising intolerance’ in the country. Several stars from Bollywood have come out in support of the actor. Ritesh Deshmukh said, “It is really unfortunate what has happened with Shah Rukh Khan. I have seen his interview and he has only shared his opinion. I think it is unfortunate that people are taking advantage of his statement and making it into an issue.” Speaking further about the ‘award wapsi’ controversy, Ritesh added, “India is a true democracy and every person has the opportunity and the right to stand by what she or he believe in.”
