Shah Rukh Khan’s ambitious dwarf film ‘Zero’ opened with moderate and much less than expected box office figure, making just Rs 20.14 crore on its first day. The film, which released on December 21, under performed over the weekend collecting just Rs 18.22 crore on Saturday and Rs 20.71 crore on Sunday. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma besides Shah Rukh. However, the star power of the trio couldn’t bring in the massive audience one would have expected. The industry still hopes that ‘Zero’ could see a massive boost in numbers with Christmas holiday tomorrow.
