Amitabh Bachchan has confessed that he was suffering from TB in the past, and he recently revealed that he was diagnosed with Hepatitis B too. Big B said, “Hepatitis B came to me during the time of my accident in the film ‘Coolie’ in 1982. There were about 200 donors whose blood was taken to infuse into me. One of the donors was carrying the Hepatitis B virus which went into my system.” Amitabh Bachchan has been suffering the ill effects of the same as he added, “In 2000, we discovered that my liver had been infected and that I had lost 75 percent of my liver. I am surviving only on one-fourth of my liver now.”
