Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ has been slapped with a legal notice for violation of the Copyright Act. A Rajasthan based filmmaker has cited that the song ‘Hans Mat Pagli’ has been copied from his recently released regional movie. Director-producer Vipin Tiwari has stated that ‘Hans Mat Pagli Pyaar Ho Jayega’ is a famous song from his film ‘Laadli’, which released on April 7. Tiwari reportedly stated that the registration of the song is with them and that ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ has infringed the Copyright Act by using it in their film. A few days back, documentary filmmaker Praveen Vyas had alleged that the idea behind the film was lifted from his 2016 documentary, ‘Manini’.
