Actress Deepti Naval suffered a heart attack on Sunday afternoon. She was at her home in the hill station Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Naval was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Chandigarh in an ambulance with a doctor on board on Sunday night following the health scare. The 68-year-old actress reportedly had to undergo angioplasty on Monday and was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday. Naval was stationed at Rohtang since September. Debuting with Shyam Benegal-directed ‘Junoon’ in 1978, Deepti Naval was last seen in the web series ‘Made In Heaven’ where she made a special appearance. In her career spanning over four decades, Naval gave us many memorable films like ‘Chashme Buddoor’, ‘Ankahee’, ‘Mirch Masala’, ‘Firaaq’, ‘Memories of March’ and ‘Listen Amaya’ among others.
