Shah Rukh Khan’s father-in-law, Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibber passed away on Tuesday evening at the Escorts Hospital in New Delhi. A bereaved Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan reportedly left for the capital after hearing the unfortunate news. The funeral was held today in the morning at Lodhi Crematorium. Shah Rukh Khan has put all his Bollywood projects on hold and is standing by the side of his wife throughout.
Gauri Khan and Vikrant Chibber are the two children of Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibber. Shah Rukh Khan is known to be a family man and was apparently close to his father-in-law. The actor married Gauri in 1991. The couple had to convince their parents a lot as it was an inter-religion marriage.
