Omung Kumar’s latest release, another biopic, ‘Sarbjit’ has received a lot of love from the audience but has also faced brickbats from the critics. However, the hopeful filmmaker states that he will make better cinema to impress the critics, “Criticism is a stepping stone of this journey to success. If you take it to heart then it will hurt. One should impress the critics with one’s work, so much so that they will have to praise you. A few people have criticized ‘Sarbjit’, but it is okay. There are lakhs of people who have unanimously loved the film. This is what matters more to us.” ‘Sarbjit’ has managed to collect around Rs 20 crore so far.
