The debacle of ‘Rangoon’ seems to have made Nation Award winning filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj return to his Shakespearean love. Rumors in the industry suggest that Bhardwaj is planning to adapt a comedy play titled ‘Twelfth Night’ written by Shakespeare in the 16th century. Vishal is expected to give the script a Bollywood twist, which is a gender confusion plot. Previously, the filmmaker has adapted Shakespearean plots like ‘Macbeth’ made into ‘Maqbool’ in 2003, ‘Othello’ into ‘Omkara’ in 2006 and Hamlet made into ‘Haider’ in 2014. ‘Rangoon’ released on February 24 but fell flat at the Box Office.
