After buzz of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ going through a delayed schedule and release in 2018 hit the marquee, an official confirmation has come through. Producer Viacom 18 maintained, “‘Padmavati’ is not postponed. Not shifting to 2018 either. It will release on November 17, 2017.” The sets of this period drama were vandalized twice, once in Jaipur, Rajasthan and then in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Despite damage to the sets and missing of costumes and jewelry, the makers of ‘Padmavati’ are confident to release the movie on schedule. Leading lady Deepika Padukone has already started with the preparations for the film.
