Taapsee Pannu has been a part of two impressive female oriented films, ‘Pink’ and ‘Naam Shabana’. However, the actress feels it is not right to demand equivalent pay as male actors in the industry. Sharing her opinion she says, “It is kind of unfair to ask for an equal pay when you are not getting an equal amount of opening collection. The day the audience walks in to see a female protagonist film and gives the same amount of bumper opening, of Rs 10 – 15 crore, that day I will say that we need to be paid equally. Right now it is unfair to the producers to give us an equal amount of money, no matter how good the film is.” Taapsee will be seen in ‘Judwaa 2’ alongside Varun Dhawan soon.
