Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been paired opposite the much acclaimed actor Rajkummar Rao in ‘Fanney Khan’. The film is a musical adventure and Ash plays a stylish character, romancing Rao. Fresh from the success of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, Rajkummar Rao was showered with praises from Amitabh Bachchan, who sent him a handwritten note for his performance. ‘Fanney Khan’ will also star Anil Kapoor in the lead and director Atul Manjrekar will start with the shoot in Mumbai this month. Produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, ‘Fanney Khan’ is an official remake of the Dutch film ‘Everybody’s Famous!’.
