‘Pamavati’ is seeing a lot of protests from across the country and its director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and lead actor Shahid Kapoor are out there to rescue the film. However, Deepika Padukone, who plays the titular role in the film, prefers to not comment on the controversy. “I will not say anything,” quips Deepika. Playing the royal role of Rani Padmini, Deepika has been showered with praises for her dance performance in ‘Ghoomar’. “We are very overwhelmed by the response. It has been an incredible journey and we are literally counting days,” adds Deepika sharing her excitement.
