Aamir Khan seemed to be the perfect choice to play celebrated astronaut Rakesh Sharma on the silver screen. The shooting of the film was to begin in 2018 and it was tentatively titled ‘Salute’. However, Mr Perfectionist has opted out of the film as he is working on something special. According to trade buzz, Aamir is developing a franchise under his production house, which will take up most of his time. The ‘Dangal’ actor is working to create a brand which will feature him in the lead role, in a list of films which he plans to develop over the years. As he focuses more on his production house now, Aamir is winding up ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ on the sidelines.
