Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj and actor Irrfan Khan have worked on hit films like ‘Maqbool’ and ‘Haider’ and the duo was set to work on another project, when the latter was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. While Irrfan flew off to UK for cancer treatment, he has been talking to the director often. “Irrfan is in touch with me, we keep talking. He is recovering. Our prayers and good wishes are with him. We hope he recovers soon and returns to films,” informs Bhardwaj. Vishal also adds that Irrfan, these days, records songs and shares them with him over the messaging application WhatsApp.
