Ranveer Singh is busy preparing for the character of a lifetime, as he plays celebrated cricketer Kapil Dev on the big screen. The actor is scheduled to travel to the hilly regions of Dharamshala in the state of Himachal Pradesh, where the unit of Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ will train for India’s historic win at the 1983 cricket World Cup against the West Indies. Ranveer will work on grasping the legendary cricketer’s iconic nuances and expressions, as he transforms into one on the silver screen. National Award-winning actor Pankaj Tripathi is also a part of ‘83’, in which he plays PR Man Singh, the team’s manager.
