It’s a risk which very few can afford to take. Karan Johar and his production house Dharma Productions have announced the release date of the Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Mr Lele’ on a New Year’s Day. This Shashank Khaitan directed film will release on January 1, 2021 which falls on a Friday. Movies generally don’t do good business on the first Friday of the New Year as people are generally recovering from all the celebrations. But being the start of the weekend, it just might work in its favor. ‘Mr Lele’ is jointly produced by Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan while Dharma Productions is backing the film. The comedy stars Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles alongside Varun.
