Director Shoojit Sircar, Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana are gearing up to release their upcoming film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’. The comedy is premiering on Amazon Prime Video on June 12th and has become the very first big banner film in Bollywood to go directly on a streaming because of the Covid-19 lockdown. Talking about working with the director, Mr. Bachchan says, “Shoojit Sircar is no mean director. He is many creative beings in one form of his body… an alumni of the prestigious NSD – the National School of Drama. His acting qualities far outweigh his qualities as a director.” Some of Shoojit’s fans swear by his work like ‘Pink’ (writer), ‘Piku’ and ‘Vicky Donor’. Hence the expectations from ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ are already very high.
