Rumors about Director Sanjay Gupta and Akshay Kumar’s film have been making headlines for quite some time now. The news was that Gupta had video-called the star to narrate the next in the ‘Shootout’ franchise. Since the filmmaker’s ‘Mumbai Saga’ is almost complete, he is to direct the third in the ‘Shootout’ series once the lockdown is lifted. For this, Gupta was said to be in talks with Akki. But the director himself has now come out to deny the news. Though he wants to work with Akshay, no deal is in place as of now. Gupta is currently winding-up ‘Mumbai Saga’ and has also finished writing the first draft of the ‘Shootout’ film. While he was only a writer for ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’, ‘Shootout At Wadala’ saw him playing writer, director and producer.
