Amitabh Bachchan had a close call after he was diagnosed as Covid-19 positive. Post his hospital stay which lasted over three weeks in July and a few more weeks of rest at home, Mr. Bachchan has resumed shooting for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 12’ (‘KBC 12’). All excited about being on the sets of the game show, Big B said, “It has begun… the chair, the atmosphere, the ‘KBC 12’. It started in the year 2000, today is 2020. Unimaginable that the years have passed by, that the show has lasted and that the nerves are back.” Ironically, Bachchan was shooting for the promos of the same quiz show from his house when coronavirus struck and the star had to be hospitalized.
