‘Udta Punjab’ has an interesting cast of Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan as director Abhishek Chaubey tries his best to complete the film as soon as possible. Trade buzz suggests that the makers of ‘Udta Punjab’ are planning to release the film in January 2016, around Republic Day. And if the film is completed on time then it may clash at the box office with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Airlift’. Rumor mills are abuzz with talks that ‘Udta Punjab’ is apparently being edited right on the film’s sets in Punjab, maybe as a measure to finish the project in time. If the news really comes out to be true then it will be an interesting clash next year – Akshay Kumar versus Shahid Kapoor at the box office.
