Raj Kundra who is known for his pivot from boardrooms to film sets and as the spouse of actress Shilpa Shetty, finds himself at the center of a financial storm. The Mumbai Police’s Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) is investigating a sprawling ₹60 crore fraud case and Kundra’s recent testimony has added new layers to the drama. He disclosed that a portion of the funds – now under forensic scrutiny – was paid to actresses Bipasha Basu and Neha Dhupia apart from Shilpa Shetty herself, allegedly for professional engagements. However, his selective transparency raised eyebrows. During a marathon five-hour interrogation, Kundra reportedly dodged several pivotal questions, leaving investigators with more gaps than answers. With inconsistencies mounting, the EOW is gearing up for another round of questioning to untangle the financial web and determine whether these payments were legitimate business transactions or part of a larger scheme.
