Ranbir Kapoor seen arriving for the event ‘Ramayana: Pratham Sankalp’ was wearing sunglasses as he is said to be dealing with an eye problem. “Namaste. I want to inform you all that I apologize for wearing these dark glasses. I have an eye infection. But in my heart, I only have affection. So, please don’t mind,” joked Ranbir, who plays Lord Ram in the film. He is reported to have developed conjunctivitis just a few days before the trailer launch plans for his upcoming ‘Ramayana’ in Delhi and the condition is said to have come from his daughter Raha, who had been diagnosed several days earlier. On the film side, ‘Ramayana’ is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and will be released in two instalments with the first part scheduled for a worldwide release during Diwali 2026 and the second part following during Diwali 2027.
