A lot is being said about the censorship of films of late. Actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan recently expressed that he is not much in favour of the system. “I think that this is probably a phase that we are passing through. But all of us who believe in freedom of speech should come together. I am not in favor of censorship, I am in favor of the rating system. So in a democracy I don’t think I should be told what I can say and what I cannot. But the Censor Board can certainly see my film and say that it is not appropriate below a certain age. I don’t think adults in our country need to be kept away from material. They will choose themselves what they want to see and what they don’t want to.”
