Aamir Khan had announced his plans to shoot an epic series of films on Hindu mythological ‘Mahabharata’ but had apparently stalled his plans after the debacle of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. However, if the industry buzz is anything to go by then the actor-cum-filmmaker is very much planning to make a visual spectacle with ‘Mahabharata’, which will reportedly be backed by Reliance. The actor has also bought massive commercial space in Mumbai, where the logistical planning for this epic drama could well take place. And while his team pulls up plans for this Hindu mythology, Aamir has taken up the remake of Oscar-winning Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump’.
