It has been an ongoing struggle between the male and female actors with regards to the remuneration in films. Vidya Balan expresses that she sees hope in the future. The actress said, “On television I feel that actresses get paid really well and that is great. In film there is a lot of difference. But I believe that in the coming time the difference will become less. We will definitely fight for it.” Also with more and more female oriented films and serials, Vidya opines that change is here. “Maybe it has been the patriarchal society but it is changing now and hence you can see the same in TV and in movies too,” she added.
