Aditi Rao Hydari has spoken up against street harassment. Since April 11th – 17th is celebrated as International Anti-Street Harassment Week, Aditi took on those Romeos who try to bully others openly. The ‘Padmaavat’ actress says, “StandUp is a programme that is designed towards creating awareness and imparting training to combat street harassment. Sadly, street harassment is something that we all have been through, whether as bystanders or as victims. That makes me very angry, it makes me feel very helpless and I am sure it does that to you as well.” To combat such instances, Aditi went through rigorous Stand-Up 5D (Distract; Delegate; Document; Direct; Delay) training created by an international fashion label along with USA’s Hollaback! which works against such harassments on international levels.
