His recent films, ‘PadMan’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, have all been about spreading social awareness but the actor is going all out for some kicks and punches. Trade buzz suggests that Akki will soon spill the beans and announce his next, which will be an action entertainer. It is said that the film will promise loads of Bollywood-style ‘masala’. Akshay’s last full-fledged action outing was ‘Gabbar Is Back’, which was way back in 2015.
