We had earlier reported how Akshay Kumar is planning to feature in a period saga based on the life of iconic King Prithviraj Chauhan in a project with Yash Raj Films. And the production house has now confirmed that same, announcing the film on Akki’s 52nd birthday. Akshay stated, “It is truly an honour that I will be playing the role of one of the most fearless and courageous kings of India, Prithviraj Chauhan. Prithviraj is our attempt to bring to light his valour and daredevilry. Announcing it on my birthday has indeed made it more special for me.” ‘Prithviraj’ is scheduled to hit the screens during Diwali 2020, the same time which has been booked by Kangana Ranaut for her action drama ‘Dhaakad’.
