After making waves in 2025 with her film ‘Saiyaara’, Aneet Padda quickly found herself stepping into the world of Maddock’s celebrated horror comedy franchise. The studio confirmed its next chapter, ‘Shakti Shalini’ through the closing credits of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Thamma’. Production is scheduled to begin in March and early buzz has centered on the casting. Reports suggest that Vishal Jethwa, known for ‘Homebound’, will share the screen with Aneet as her love interest. His role however, is described as more than a romantic pairing. Insiders indicate that his character will carry significant emotional weight and serve as both a driving force and a foil to the heroine’s path. It is interesting to note here that Vishal and Aneet have charmed audiences with their chemistry in ‘Salaam Venky’ in 2022.
