Athiya Shetty seems to have dazzled everybody with her performance opposite Sooraj Pancholi in Salman Khan produced ‘Hero’. However, the actress regrets not having explored the dimensions of being an assistant director. Athiya said, “I went to a film school in New York. I didn’t do acting but I did learn filmmaking in general. But I really regret not assisting. So when we first came on the sets, I had no idea about anything. Sooraj really helped me with that because he had assisted before. I feel that when you learn on the job you understand more.” ‘Hero’ has opened to a good response over the weekend.
