Bollywood said goodbye to yet another beloved member of the film fraternity today. After losing actors Irrfan Khan & Rishi Kapoor, singer / composer Wajid Ali Khan & filmmaker Basu Chatterjee, the world woke up to the news of film and tv actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing. The 34 year star was found dead in his Mumbai residence on Sunday. According to sources he was suffering from depression and commit suicide by hanging himself in his Bandra residence. Mumbai police confirmed the news and are investigating his death as no suicide note has been found yet. Sushant was a gifted actor who first shot to fame on the small screen before making his mark in films like ‘Kai Po Che’, ‘M.S.Dhoni’, ‘PK’, ‘Sonchiriya’, ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Chhichhore’. His upcoming release ‘Dil Bechara’ which is the official remake of the American film ‘The Fault in our stars’, is scheduled to release later this year or in early 2021.
Sushant’s team released this official statement: “It pains us to share that Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer with us. We request his fans to keep him in their thoughts and celebrate his life, and his work like they have done so far.”
