Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul tied the knot in a private ceremony hosted at Suniel Shetty’s palatial bungalow in Khandala. Soon after the rituals were over, Suniel Shetty and son Ahan Shetty stepped out to distribute sweets. Speaking about the wedding, the beaming father said, “It was a beautiful function and a close one. The wedding is officially done and I have become father-in-law now. This is not a new role, because I am still the father and for me, my son is coming home.” When asked about the reception, the actor added, “We will definitely plan something post the Indian Premier League (IPL).” Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul romanced for a few years before tying the knot in the presence of close family and friends.
