Varun Dhawan has completely shed his chocolate boy looks and transformed into a tough man for ‘Badlapur’. However, a lot of time went into creating the same. “It took us two and a half months to come up with this look. I had done a lot of research, like I saw my elder brother’s beard grow when he writes a script. Then for makeup, Vikram Gaikwad did all of it,” said Varun. The actor added why the audience should watch the film, “We have made this film with a lot of honesty but ‘Badlapur’ is not made keeping in thought the box office. This is logical and sensitive cinema.”
