A trailer encapsulated with world-class action, retro swag, a foot-tapping background score, massive production values, mega-star cast, and Akshay Kumar’s very own unique panache and persona, Bell Bottom has raised the excitement level of fans manifolds and have them eagerly-awaiting for August 19th to immerse into the world of this captivating espionage thriller.
Presented in 2D and 3D formats, the film sees Akshay Kumar as you’ve never seen him before, a RAW agent tasked with bringing a stop to the hijacking plans of a callous gang seeking to take over an Indian plane in 1984. Based on a true story of India’s first covert operation, Bellbottom will have audiences on the edge of their seats as he strives to outsmart the gang of tyrants.
As Pooja Entertainment pioneers the theatrical release of Bollywood post the second wave of covid-19, Akshay Kumar’s multi- million global fanbase were not the only ones counting days for Bell Bottom’s release. Bollywood’s biggest stars such as Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu, Tiger Shroff, Rakul preet Singh, Kiara Advani, Kapil Sharma, Riteish Deshmukh, Suniel Shetty, Remo D’souza championed the release, sharing their excitement on social media.

Bellbottom is no stranger in setting benchmarks in Bollywood. The film has also been at the forefront, leading the charge for the revival of Indian cinema post pandemic. Bellbottom was in fact the first production to film on UK post the first wave of covid-19, having filmed in a bio-bubble in Scotland in 2020. The performance and success of Bellbottom will go a long way in kick-starting the engine of Bollywood, after nearly 16 months in standstill.
Directed by Ranjit M Tewari and brought to life by the man of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar himself, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi and is presented Pooja Entertainment in association with Emmay Entertainment. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani.
