Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar seem to be caught on the wrong side of the law. Rajat Bansal, a lawyer, has allegedly lodged a complaint against the duo for cheating and forgery and has filed an FIR at Keshav Nagar police station in Lucknow. IPC Section 406 and 420 have been slapped up on them. The story goes thus. Bansal bought a television set worth Rs 29,999 and paid the money through his debit card. The website in question did not deliver the TV in the promised 10 days’ time. Ranbir and Farhan endorse the site and hence, according to the lawyer, are equally responsible.
