Aamir Khan has been a staunch supporter of good cinema. And Maharashtra government’s new decision to screen Marathi film in multiplexes during primetime, which they later eased to 12pm-9pm slot, may have found a supporter in the form of Aamir Khan. The actor said, “I don’t know if a law is needed for this. Because when the audiences like a particular film then automatically the movie will get more shows. But I am definitely in support of regional cinema. And the good part is that that the regional cinema is very vibrant. It is a good thing that we make movies in so many different languages.”
