The Kajol starrer ‘Salaam Venky’ has finally got a release date. Directed by Revathy, the film is slated to hit the screens on December 9th. ‘Salaam Venky’ narrates the true story of a mother’s strength when faced with challenges. Announcing the film’s release date, Kajol had shared on social media, “And we have a date. ‘Salaam Venky’ will release at a theatre near you on 09-12-2022.” The film was previously titled ‘The Last Hurrah’. Apart from this, Kajol will also headline in the OTT series ‘The Good Wife’ where she essays the role of a lawyer. Speaking about the show, Kajol said, “The beauty of OTT platforms is that they give creators and actors an opportunity to reinvent and experiment with different formats, and with ‘The Good Wife’, that’s exactly what I got!”
