Karan Johar-backed ‘Dostana 2’ is a much-awaited sequel, with Alia Bhatt being the latest name to be associated with the project. Reports and rumors aside, KJo denies approaching his protege for the project, “For the record, no one has been officially approached for ‘Dostana 2’. Some thoughts and ideas are underway but nothing official has moved.” It must be noted here that Karan has not completely denied the possibility of casting Alia in this film, who remains to be one of his favorite ‘pupils’. If not for ‘Dostana 2’, Alia is already on board for three films by Karan’s production house Dharma Productions – ‘Kalank’, ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Takht’.
