Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor’s much anticipated, ‘PadMan’, finally hit the screens this February and started off decently at the box office, raking in Rs 10.26 crore on its first day. ‘PadMan’ released on 2,750 screens across India and picked up a healthy pace over the weekend, recording a collection of Rs 13.68 crore on Saturday and Rs 16 crore on Sunday, marking a total of approximately Rs 40 crore in its opening weekend. ‘PadMan’ is produced by Twinkle Khanna and is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 90 crore.
