Being one of the most prominent actors in the country, Ranbir Kapoor has many brand endorsements under his belt. One such is a betting app titled Mahadev. The Indian government’s investigation arm – Enforcement Directorate popularly known as ED, has summoned Ranbir Kapoor on the grounds that Ranbir promoted Mahadev’s subsidiary app. It is alleged that Ranbir took a large chunk of money in cash. The case also concerns hawala transactions as large as Rs 112 crore for various other activities apart from this. As for Ranbir, the actor is called for questioning on October 6th in the capital city of Raipur as the case is registered in the state of Chhattisgarh. It is said that some more A-list Bollywood celebrities may be called for questioning by the ED.
