Saif Ali Khan will step into a fighter avatar for ‘Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior’, battling out against Ajay Devgn, who plays the titular role. The actor reportedly underwent intense training in sword fighting for his Rajput warrior role of Udaybhan Rathod. Saif’s Khan’s character will represent Mughal ruler Emperor Aurangzeb as he fights the Maratha warriors in ‘Taanaji’. The film is directed by Navneet Singh and also features Kajol. Apart from this period drama, Saif Ali Khan recently wrapped up the shooting of his much talked about web show ‘Sacred Games 2’. For those who are unaware, he plays inspector Sartaj Singh in the web series.
